Powell and Adams lived together in South Florida many years, first owning a home in Hollywood. 'They fell in love, and they've been together ever since,' Kicklighter said. Powell, 47, and Adams, 52, met at a gay pride march in the Cleveland area when Powell was 18 years old, Kicklighter said.
